Frequently Asked Questions
Will the bank withdraw my overdraft or reduce my credit limit?
Answer:
All banks and building societies reserve the right to review your credit facility at any time for any reason. To alter your credit facility after a Payment Protection Insurance claim and for only that reason would not only be unethical, but it does not make business sense for the banks. If they’ve just “lost” money by refunding you the insurance premiums they owe you together with interest, it is likely that they will want to build a stronger relationship with you so that they profit in the long term. We get over 90% of our customers through referrals from family and friends of people whom we’ve helped claim compensation, and we know they would not recommend us to their family and friends if the process damaged their relationship with their bank.
